If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it might be this baked brie. It’s gooey, creamy, sweet and crunchy. With every bite you taste a hint of truffle honey to round out all of the decadence. It’s everything you need for a party on your taste buds! Serve this with some crispy bread and you’re all set. I also believe that baked brie can be a year-round dish. If you can eat other hot items for dinner in the summer like pasta or baked beans, why not gooey cheese? Get on board!
BAKED BRIE WITH truffle honey, rosemary and walnuts
SUPPLIES + INSTRUCTIONS
1 round wheel of brie
1 tablespoon of truffle honey (I used @thetruffleist)
½ cup of raw, unsalted walnuts
4 fresh rosemary sprigs
1 fresh baguette
To Make:
Pre-Heat oven to 350F
Unwrap Brie and place entire wheel on an oven safe dish (preferably with sides, cookie trays work as well but you don’t want the brie to run away once gooey)
Drizzle honey, sprinkle walnuts and place rosemary on top of the brie
Place in oven and cook for 10-12 minutes. When you touch the brie it should feel a bit squishy, almost like a water balloon
Let brie sit for 5 minutes
Dive in, let that cheesy goodness seep out, dip in your baguette and enjoy. You can eat the rind!
